STATEMENT

Marilyn Davidson is an internationally recognized visual artist, exploring the polarities of painting and sculpture. Her current studio practice  integrates oil paint, canvas, plaster and resin and is deeply engaged with the power of color. While primarily abstract, references to figuration are found throughout her art. Celebratory or pensive, the works probe an internalized life, unbounded by narrative.
